Peacocks are bird's of royalty in many countries. With paper, felt and glue you can have your very own royal peacock!

Create a body.

Draw a curvy oval onto a piece of blue felt. This is your peacock’s head and body.

Cut out the body.

Cut out this shape and put aside.

Draw a triangle.

Draw a small triangle on a piece of yellow felt.

Cut out the triangle.

Cut out the small triangle and put aside.

Add eyes.

Glue two wiggly eyes onto the blue felt and let dry completely.

Glue the triangle.

Glue the small triangle under the eyes and let dry completely.

Bend a pipe cleaner.

Fold a blue pipe cleaner in half to make a V.

Cut the pipe cleaner.

Cut the pipe cleaner in half and put one piece aside. You will not need it for this craft.

Fold a pipe cleaner, again.

Fold one of the pieces of pipe cleaner in half to make a V.

Cut the pipe cleaner, again.

Cut this piece of pipe cleaner in half.

Curl the pipe cleaners.

Curl half of the pipe cleaner by wrapping it around a pencil.

Add a bead.

Put a bead on the end of each pipe cleaner.

Attach pipe cleaners.

Tape the pipe cleaners to the back of the peacock’s head.

Make a fan.

Fold a piece of purple construction paper back and forth to make a fan.

Fold fan in half.

Fold the scrunched up paper in half and tape it together.

Cut green circles.

Cut out a bunch of green circles. The circles can be different sizes and don’t need to be perfect circles.

Glue green circles.

Glue the circles onto the purple fan any where you like.

Attach the body.

Tape the purple fan onto the back of your peacock body.
